I just finished Jennifer Egan's A Visit From the Goon Squad... one of those books that grips you from the first sentence and demands that you plow through it at a feverish pace, simply to keep up with the lives of these characters who are so real and perfect in their imperfections that you cant imagine not sharing in their happenings.

A stunning tale of growing up and growing old, opportunities missed and found, love and neurosis, music and life in the digital age... it just won the 2011 Pulitzer Price for Fiction (yes, it's that good).
